Material overview

Flexible Magnet Construction

Flexible magnets combine ferrite magnetic powder with an elastomeric or thermoplastic binder. The binder creates the bendability and converting behavior; it also becomes the practical temperature and chemical-resistance limit.

Isotropic sheet

Lower magnetic output, highly versatile multipole magnetization; signage and general holding.

Anisotropic sheet

Aligned magnetic powder for higher output; sensors and small motors.

Extruded profile

Continuous shaped profiles for refrigerator/cabinet seals and custom closures.

Converted parts

Slit, die-cut, laminated, printed or adhesive-backed parts supplied ready for the customer line.

Manufacturing

Flexible Magnet Production Base & Conversion

01

Compounding

Ferrite powder and polymer/binder are mixed for the target grade.

02

Calendering / extrusion

Sheet, roll or profile is formed to thickness and orientation.

03

Magnetization

Multipole or through-thickness pattern is applied according to the application.

04

Lamination / printing

PVC/PET/paper/PSA and other surfaces are applied as required.

05

Slitting / die cutting

Material is converted to roll width, strip or custom part geometry.

06

Final inspection

Thickness, dimensions, surface, magnetization pattern and holding/field requirement are verified.

Production base: Ningbo, Zhejiang — approximately 200+ employees according to current internal company information. Workshop and converting-line photographs are reserved for later replacement.

Engineering answers

Frequently asked questions

How strong are flexible magnets?

They trade energy density for flexibility and processability. Anisotropic flexible materials are stronger than isotropic sheet, but rigid ferrite or rare-earth magnets are required when high field density is the priority.

Can flexible magnets be printed or laminated?

Yes. They can be laminated with printable films, paper, PVC/PET and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

Can you die-cut custom parts?

Yes. Flexible magnetic material can be slit, punched, die-cut, kiss-cut or profile-cut depending on geometry and volume.

What limits operating temperature?

The polymer binder and laminate system typically limit temperature before the ferrite powder itself does. Material/binder selection should match the real operating condition.
