Review This Configuration

Selection identifies the review scope. Materials, ratings and acceptance criteria remain subject to engineering confirmation.

MaterialApplication RequirementsData to Confirm
MnZn ferritePower conversion, transformer or inductor duty at the specified waveform.Frequency, flux swing, core loss, permeability and temperature.
NiZn ferriteHigh-frequency magnetic or suppression duty under defined conditions.Frequency, impedance/permeability, loss and required geometry.
Iron powderInductor or energy-storage duty with specified DC bias.Bias/current waveform, loss, temperature rise and material grade.

Core shape does not identify the material grade. Winding supply and qualified performance data are confirmed separately.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Before You Send a Drawing.

Do you supply all three core families?

Yes. Ningbo Empire manufactures and supplies MnZn ferrite, NiZn ferrite and iron powder cores. Grade, dimensions and delivery conditions are confirmed for each enquiry.

Can I select a core by shape alone?

No. Similar shapes can use different materials with different loss, permeability and frequency behavior. Send the electrical duty and operating conditions with the drawing.

Are windings included?

This category covers magnetic cores. Any winding, bobbin or finished magnetic component requirement needs separate confirmation in the quotation.
